GEORGE KARATE NEWS - Two karatekas from Karate-Zen Pacaltsdorp Dojo took part in their second competition at the Karate Super League Cheetah Challenge in Bloemfontein and brought home five medals.

Trevor Ferndale (age group 15-16 years) won gold for kata and bronze for kumite.

Kiano Booysen (age group 6-7 years) won gold for kata and silver for kumite.

Sensei Mareon Ferndale, their instructor, said he is extremely proud of their achievements.

Six of the karatekas from his dojo where chosen to compete in the Super League Challenge but due to financial constraints only two were able to take part. Anyone who wishes to enrol at this dojo can contact sensei Mareon Ferndale on 083 341 1663.
