FOOTBALL NEWS - The Safa Eden Regional Men's League champions, the Black Cats from George, took a beating when they lost against Beaufort West-based side Royal Blues at the Rustdene Sport Ground in Beaufort West. The home side won 3-0.
Both of the newly promoted sides, Black Cats (Eden) and Maties (Cape Winelands), were defeated in their second game in the Western Cape ABC Motsepe League.
Ubuntu (Cape Town) won their second game by 2-1 against Cape Town Spurs, formerly known as Ajax Cape Town.
