GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - Tekkie Town gave Rosemoor-based soccer team George Celtics a massive boost by sponsoring 40 pairs of boots, 26 T-shirts, two balls, water bottles, bibs and cones.

"Tekkie Town is excited to donate this starter pack to the team and we really believe it's supporting George and our local community and deeply believe in sports as a way of building communities," said Julie Mostert, head of marketing at Tekkie Town, during the handover.

"We have donated 15 similar starter packs to sports teams nationally."

The head coach of George Celtics, Luyanda Mzolisa, expressed his gratitude towards Tekkie Town and to the Lord who gave him the love for soccer that enables him to take care of all the young men at the club.
