GEORGE NEWS - Lawaaikamp’s Simunye Football Club took down NMU Madibaz 2-1 in an exciting first semi-final at the Geolfa Easter Tournament at Thembalethu Stadium.
Bukho Makhele and Siyabonga Miggels scored the winning goals for Simunye, while Emile Jansen got one back for Madibaz. Pule Masoa stood out with a solid performance for the locals.
In the other semi-final, Fast Eleven FC lost 3-1, paving the way for today’s big final.
Simunye FC will take on Paris United at 15:30 at Thembalethu Stadium, competing for the R25 000 top prize or R11 000 for second place.
