GEORGE NEWS - The Thembalethu side Raul Stars FC registered two important wins in the Safa Eden Regional Men's League on Saturday.
12 March in George. In the first game they sank "Umlilo" Burning Fire 2-1 at Rosemoor Stadium and in the second they defeated Paris United 1-0.
So far they have played 21 games with four victories, one draw and sixteen defeats, placing them right at the bottom of the log with 13 points.
The game against Paris United got off to a good start with Paris United using the strength of Anele Pungwana and Lunathi Ndzipho to attack. Lungisa "Nyana" Bonga of Raul Stars scored a goal after a marvellous cross inside the box from the right side of the field, to make it 1-0.
In the second half Raul Stars chased a second goal while Paris United were looking for an equaliser, but neither side had any luck.
