It has been heavily reported that the consortium that now owns Moroka Swallows was looking to buy out Stars and have Swallows reinstated in the PSL, two seasons after being relegated to the National First Division and then to the ABC Motsepe League.
Khoza categorically stated that they have received a notice of intent to sell from Stars but have not received the required commitment from the consortium, rendering the deal null and void at the moment.
“As it stands, there is no deal between the two parties, we are still awaiting a report from them. As we speak, we don’t know who these people in the trust are. We only know Mr Lesufi.”
