GEORGE NEWS - The Lawaaikamp giants Black Cats FC have reached the end of their road in the Western Cape ABC Motsepe League Nedbank Cup. They were ousted in the quarter-finals by the former Premier League team Santos FC from Cape Town, who defeated them 3-0 last Saturday afternoon, 23 October.
The game took place in Cape Town. The home side took the lead before the second half and were ahead 2-0 just before the break. Black Cats had their work cut out for them in the second half, but it was not their game.
Santos FC kept on pushing for more goals and managed to score a third. The Black Cats' first game in the ABC Motsepe League was played at the Rosemoor Stadium in George on 16 October, where they defeated Langebaan 1-0.

The Glendene United vs Royal Blues match was called off due to the death of one of the players.
