CRICKET NEWS - The SWD Premier and Promotion league finals will be contested at the REC Ground in Oudtshoorn on 9 and 10 March.
Riversdale and Thembalethu will lock horns in the Promotion League final on 9 March.
The winner of the Promotion League competition, together with the bottom three teams in the Premier League - Mossel Bay (eighth), Western Hope (ninth) and Pacaltsdorp United (tenth) will lock horns in a round robin series of matches on 16, 23 and 30 March to determine which team will qualify for a place in the Premier League in 2019/20.
The Premier League competition will be reduced to eight teams.
The defending champions, Union Stars, will host NMU at the Bridgton Sports Grounds tomorrow (Saturday) in the qualifier for a place in the final.
The winner will take on George – who finish on top of the log – on Sunday.
