GEORGE NEWS - A fest for sports enthusiasts is on our doorstep. In only four days' time, the 13th annual Mega High School Sports Festival is set to take place at schools across town.
Hosted by Southern Cape Sports Tours in partnership with George Municipality, the festival promises to bring together an impressive array of schools from across the nation.
Taking place from 31 March to 4 April, it will showcase elite competitions in rugby, hockey, netball, soccer and tennis, with boys and girls teams participating.
Numerous schools from the George area will of course join in to pitch their strength against prestigious schools from across the country.
The organisers thanked George Municipality for its ongoing support and partnership, that play a vital role in promoting youth sports and boosting local tourism.
"We are excited for future editions that will continue to inspire young athletes and unite communities across South Africa," they say.
