GEORGE NEWS - In last week's George Herald, it was reported that four athletes of the Eden Acrobatic Performance Sport Association (Eapsa) have qualified to compete at the Acrobatic Performance National Championships.
There are however 10 of Eapsa's athletes who qualified. The complete list of athletes from the Eden district who have qualified to represent the Western Cape team in their respective levels are:
- Gracey Johnson (Level 4)
- Lia Schmidt (Level 6)
- Mishke van Niekerk (Level 6)
- Nasia Athanasiou (Level 8) - High Performance
- Amé Loubser (Level 8) - High Performance
- Yva de Sousa (Level 8) - High Performance
- Sophia Morley (Level 8) - High Performance
- Yohke van Niekerk (Level 9) - High Performance
- Elishaén Smit (Level 9) - High Performance
- Nicola Minnie (Level 10) - High Performance
They had to compete on district, regional and thereafter inter-provincial level to be considered for the nationals hosted in Gauteng later this year.
