GEORGE NEWS - The long wait is finally over for the class of 2024! Matric learners across George gathered at their respective schools today, 14 January, to collect their results.
George Herald visited several high schools to capture the momentous occasion. Proud smiles and heartfelt hugs abounded as learners celebrated their successes with teachers, family, and friends.
One such school is Eden Technical High School. The Class of 2024 achieved an 85.9% pass rate, down from last year’s pass rate of 90.4%.
Headmaster G Koekemoer said the results for 2024 were less than he had expected. “I’m proud of you and would like to thank the parents, teachers and governing body members present for helping and encouraging our matrics. Our Top 10 learners for 2024 also achieved higher marks than our Top 10 in 2023. Congratulations to you all,” said Koekemoer.
Congratulations to the Class of 2024!
