NATIONAL NEWS - A woman known only as 'Ms Machesa' had her car stolen by her cyber boyfriend at their very first meeting in Bergview last week.
A coffee date turned sour when he excused himself to meet a friend, unknowing to Machesa, swiping her car keys in the diversion.
Ms Machesa reported her vehicle stolen at the Pietermaritzburg police station in Loop Street on Sunday.
In her statement, her WhatAapp boyfriend told her that he wanted her to accompany him to Durban to meet his parents. This was after two months of chatting.
He told Machesa that he is a neurosurgeon at Netcare.
