PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - A man has been arrested in connection with the murder that rocked Plettenberg Bay on Monday.
The naked body of 63-year-old Penelope Cumming was found in her home in the Schoongezigt Country Estate, a complex in Piesang Valley Road, on Monday 29 January at about 05:00.
Her house had been ransacked and her Volvo SUV was missing. The vehicle was later found partially burnt out in Nekkies, Knysna.
Police spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie confirmed that a man, believed to be about 25 years old, was arrested today, Tuesday 30 January in Kwanokuthula, where he was “hiding near a school”.
