Update
PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - The bail bid by the man accused of brutally killing and raping a 63-year-old Plettenberg Bay woman in her Schoongezicht Country Estate last month, has been unsuccessful.
The 30-year-old suspect, who cannot be named until he has pleaded, appeared in the Plettenberg Bay Magistrates Court today (Wednesday, February 21) for a formal bail application.
Hospice nurse Penny Cumming’s naked and bruised body was discovered by a friend in her Schoongezicht Country Estate home in Piesang Valley Road at 05:00 on January 29.
