Eyewitness News is in possession of a paper trail stretching back to August detailing how the private school eventually terminated its contract with Tebogo Lekalakala and his wife last week.
The school found that it was not compulsory for the child to attend the Jehovah’s Witness convention and eventually ended his parents’ contract after they took him out of school for the day anyway.
In a series of emails to EWN, the school states that the Lekalalas did not comply with the conditions in the contract they signed under which absence can be approved.
