NATIONAL NEWS - The Board of the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa is expected to reveal on Friday why it had terminated the notice period of CEO, Lucky Montana, four months early.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Prasa said that the Board had resolved that Montana would not be required to work the remainder of his notice period, which commenced on the First of June 2015.

His last day of employ was Wednesday.

Prasa Chief Operations Officer, Nathi Khena, has been announced as the Acting CEO.

Prasa Group Chief Strategy Officer, Sipho Sithole, says the Board will hold a media briefing on Friday.
