The opposition party argues Jiba was criticised by 12 judges, on four benches, in three different matters during her short stint as acting head of the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), and is accused of lying to a court, failing to comply with court orders and “shielding irrational and illegal actions from judicial scrutiny”.

The DA failed to convince Judge Mokgoatji Dolamo of its case, but the party is hoping another will come to a different conclusion.
