According to Embalenhle police spokesman, Captain Magonseni Nkosi, the first body was discovered tied up on the night of September 11, while the second body was found on September 14.
"We are concerned about the two incidents and believe this might be the work of a serial killer who murders people and dumps their bodies into the dam," said Nkosi.
Nkosi said police first acted on a report from community members on September 11 that a body of a man was inside the dam.
"His body was removed from the dam the following day. Police found a driver’s license and R70 on him," he said.
