Expected to make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show this coming Wednesday, the Mercedes-Maybach S650 will slot in above the performance orientated S65 AMG in the S-class cabrio range, with only 300 units forecasted to see the light of day.
Aside from changes to the already opulent interior to differentiate itself from lesser models, the S650 is rumoured to receive and even more powerful version of the S65's 6.0-litre bi-turbo V12, which currently produces 463 kW and 1 000 N.m of torque.
