According to Autocar, the RS Q8 will come powered by the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid’s 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 engine, combined with an electric power to produce 500kW/850Nm.
Despite the former figure being 15kW up on the Lamborghini Urus, torque is unchanged with the publication claiming that the setup, along with an eight-speed automatic and quattro all-wheel drive, will take the RS Q8 from 0-62 mph (100km/h) in “around four seconds”
The RS Q8’s reign could be short-lived though as the same hybrid drivetrain is being touted as an option for the new Audi RS7, where it is reportedly expected to deliver 700 PS or 515kW and possibly beat the Panamera’s 0-100km/h sprint of 3.4 seconds.
