To be based on the recently introduced GT-generation Impreza hatchback, the new XV, from the image at least, adopts a more bolder appearance with upwards running edgier slashes, longer bonnet line and a subtle boot spoiler.
Although no technical details were revealed, power will most likely come from the outgoing model's 2.0-litre normally aspirated flat-four with 110 kW and 196 N.m of torque, while transmissions choices will again consist of a six-speed manual or CVT. Expect more details to be released closer to Geneva.
