GEORGE NEWS - The eagerly anticipated, magnificent George Old Car Show takes place this Saturday and Sunday at the Eden Technical High School on the corner of York and Union Streets.
The show, which turns 25 this year, is the perfect outing for the whole family.
George Herald will be at the show this weekend and will feature great photographs of the event on Facebook, our website as well as in the newspaper next Thursday.
Bring the family to enjoy displays and drive-bys by classic and modern fleets, an auction and refreshment tent, plus food and bric-a-brac stalls.
Book tickets through Computicket to avoid disappointment if sold out at the gate.
Time slots for Saturday (8-11am, 11am-2pm, 2-5pm) cost only R50 per slot and Sunday's show times are 8am to 1pm.
Waldo and René Scribante of Scribs Benzeum, the main partner of the George Old Car Show, taking a drive in their Mercedes Benz 1967 W111 250SE Cabriolet with their beloved four-year-old Old English Sheepdog, Mary Jo, also on board - after all, it's nearly Valentine's Day.
