GEORGE NEWS - The George Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) appeals to anyone with information regarding the following two rape cases to come forward and assist them with the investigation.
On 3 March at approximately 01:00, a 26-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a man in Zone 4, Thembalethu.
According to the police the victim was raped while on her way to her home in Zone 9. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact Warrant Officer KC Botha of the George FCS on 044 803 4621 during office hours.
On 2 February a woman (24) was sleeping in her bungalow in Zone 9 when a suspect allegedly entered her home by force and raped her. The alleged incident occurred at approximately 03:00. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Sergeant Ann Janse of George FCS on 044 803 4621.
