GEORGE NEWS - George police opened a case of reckless and negligent driving following an accident on the corner of Nelson Mandela Boulevard and Cradock streets at about 22:50 on Friday 29 October.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson, Sgt Chris Spies, information available indicates that two vehicles, a red Nissan Skyline with four male occupants, and a white Hyundai with three females, collided.
Two people sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital by ambulance.
“Further information indicates that one of the victims was transferred to a hospital in Cape Town for further medical care. The cause of the accident is yet to be determined,” said Spies.
