LOCAL NEWS - Local entrepreneurs have only nine days left to submit entries for the 2025 Entrepreneur Programme, presented by the George Business Chamber. Entries close on Thursday 11 July.
Over 10 weeks, 20 selected finalists will engage in intensive business modelling, combining expert tuition with practical applications.
Now in its third year, the 2025 The Entrepreneur Programme is presented in partnership with ACSA, George Herald, Algoa FM, Safety Solutions Africa, NMU, AHI Western Cape, Envestpro and AP Business Coaching and Consulting.
The programme is designed as a business accelerator, identifying promising entrepreneurial talent across George and the greater Garden Route and supporting them toward long-term, sustainable growth.
The selected 20 standout SME entrepreneurs will benefit from business development funding, marketing collateral, mentorship and the opportunity to create a fully developed business plan.
To be eligible, the entrepreneur's businesses must be registered, operational for more than a year in George or the Garden Route and have an annual turnover below R6-million.
More details can be found on the entry form. Entries must reach the Project Manager by 11 July.
