GEORGE NEWS - The police in George are still looking for two suspects after an attempted house robbery in Victoria Bay on Tuesday 1 November.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Sgt Chris Spies, the incident took place around 01:30. It is believed that the victim was at home when he heard a noise.
When he went to investigate, he saw two men outside. A shootout ensued and the assailants fled the scene on foot.
"Circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation. The suspects are still at large," said Spies.
The investigation officer urges the public to come forward with any information that could lead to the arrest of the assailants.
