GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The Mr SA 2020 social media favourite is Kyle Hans (30) from Plettenberg Bay. Kyle says he has always wanted to enter.
"I decided this is the year to do so. I have so much to offer the communities of South Africa."
He is currently a manager at a construction company and previously played professional rugby for Evergreens, SWD as well as Griquas. "My dream is to one day have my own charity. I know sport brings all races together, and keeps the young off the streets. It teaches kids basic everyday skills as well as respect. So one day I'll have my own sport organisation where I would get in touch personally with the communities of South Africa."
He has received a lot of local support and is very grateful. "I feel that I can inspire, motivate and make a positive impact on many lives."
Mr SA is a great platform for gentlemen of all walks of life, he says.
He says it is still amazing to realise that he was chosen for the top 100 from hundreds of entries. According to Kyle the winner of the competition will be announced next year after a series of challenges to become a finalist.
"The first challenge is to approach 10 businesses to do their marketing and become a brand ambassador. The businesses would pay a small monthly fee for 12 months and the businesses would be advertised on the Mr SA social media page as well as my page."
