The reaction of the commuters is mixed. At a bus stop in Pacaltsdorp one lady said she is very pleased as she now only has to pay a single fare for her journey to work and not double as she had to take two taxis on each trip.
A gentleman had the opposite opinion. He said the taxi picked him up in front of his and house and dropped him off at the gate of his workplace.
There is a noticeable presence of SAPS, provincial and George traffic vehicles on the road this morning.
