GARDEN ROUTE DISTRICT NEWS - The Gift of the Givers Foundation (GOTG) is continuing its humanitarian relief efforts for victims of the floods that occurred on Monday 22 November in George this weekend.
GOTG delivered Woolworths food hampers and blankets to nurses and staff at the Harry Comay TB Hospital in Conville on Friday 26 November, after which they went to Thembalethu to deliver plastic sheeting for structures identified by the George municipality in anticipation of this weekend’s predicted rain.
Thoughtful of animals that are also in need, GOTG delivered dog food, cat food and blankets at Odin, the animal welfare centre in Blanco.
