GEORGE NEWS - George Fire Brigade has been attending to a veld fire in Hoekwil-Touwsranten area since yesterday.
The fire brigade is still on the scene keeping the fire under control and no properties are in danger.
With the wind turning direction, the smoke became more visible to where properties are situated.
George Fire Brigade assures everyone they are monitoring the fire.
