Update @ 12:26 - George Municipality advises that both lanes of the N2 between Thembalethu and the Garden Route Mall are now open to traffic.
GEORGE NEWS - Motorists are advised of two motor vehicle accidents on the N2 after the Thembalethu Bridge in the direction of Garden Route Mall.
One lane towards the Garden Route Mall remains open, while the lane in the direction of Thembalethu is partially closed.
A separate accident has occurred approximately 100 metres from the first scene. Emergency services are on site.
Motorists are urged to approach the area with caution and expect delays.
