GEORGE NEWS - Local photographer Cyrilene Wesso and her team were privileged to cover the traditional wedding of Luthando Christopher Vuba of Rosemoor and his beautiful bride, S'onqoba, capturing all the wonderful moments.
The Vubas got hitched here in George on 21 September and ended the two-day celebration with a high tea at Oubaai on 22 September.
The George Herald featured Luthando in 2015 when he was part of a group of 25 young Africans from 20 sub-Saharan countries studying leadership and civic engagement and policy and public private partnerships at Wagner College in the New York City borough of Staten Island.
The Wagner College cohort was part of US President Barack Obama's Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, which placed 500 men and women in programmes at 20 universities across America during the summer.
He attended St Mary's Primary School and York High School. Currently, S'onqoba is managing director of Perpetu8, an advisory and implementation consultancy for SMMEs.

There was a joyous atmosphere with lots of dancing and singing as the couple's families rejoiced in their union.
S'onqoba's traditional attire was truly the centre of the celebration. She wore a colourful headdress.
