GEORGE NEWS - A woman (31) from Thembalethu died early this morning (30 October) after her cousin (25) allegedly attacked her with a knife.
The victim, whose name was not released by police, sustained several stab wounds to her upper body.
According to Captain Dumile Gwavu from the Thembalethu police the incident occurred around 07:00 in 34th Street in Zone 7.
“The reason for the killing is unknown. The victim died on the scene. The deceased and the suspect are cousins and stayed in the same house.
"The suspect was arrested at the house and he will appear in the George Magistrate’s Court on 1 November on a charge of murder.”
