Update Video
GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - The body of a man, whose rental car went over the cliff at the Voëlklip viewpoint in Herold's Bay earlier this morning, has been recovered from the rocks.
Eyewitnesses who were at the viewpoint at the time of the incident, saw the man in a white Ford Ecosport (with a CA-registration) driving over the cliff.
According to information gathered on scene, the man was driving at a high speed, in the direction of where the eyewitnesses were standing. He then swerved to the right and went down the cliff.
The deceased's identity is not yet known.
