GEORGE NEWS - Full-figured ladies with voluptuous curves from the Southern Cape took part in the Miss Full Figure 2021 pageant held at the George Arts Theatre on Saturday 2 October.
Vinolea Deyce from George walked away with the title. Jenniene Keyser was first princess, Ashdean Oosthuizen second princess and Shella Dickson was named Miss Personality.
The event was again hosted by Carly-Lee Adams owner of Le Chic hair salon in George. The competition, the brainchild of Adams, seeks to create a platform for plus-size women where they can embrace their femininity, and encourages them to feel comfortable in their own bodies.
Adams started the competition in 2017 after she realised that plus-size models need to have their own competitions in the region.
