GEORGE NEWS - There has been a cable fault in Binne Street since 05:00 this morning which has affected portions of Fitchat-, Nywerheid-, and Foundry Streets in George Industria.
Electricians are busy with fault finding. Once the fault is isolated, power will be switched on.
Alternative feeds will also be tried to restore power.
Power will only be restored once load shedding is finished at 10:30.
