GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - The traffic department in Pacaltsdorp was closed at lunchtime today (Friday 4 May) after striking bus drivers occupied the building.
About 25 bus driver's from GO GEORGE and African Express left the building after meeting with Donovan Saptoe, George's traffic chief, and members of the SAPS and Law Enforcement.
It was a peaceful protest action. No damage was reported.
The department remains closed.
