GEORGE NEWS - Taxi owners have suspended all taxi operations in George following this morning's stand-off between the taxi industry and local traffic authorities.
Two taxis were allegedly impounded by the Ghost Squad earlier this morning. Several taxi drivers then blocked off the Go George hub in Cradock Street.
Taxi commuters are encouraged to make alternative transport arrangements as the taxis will remain suspended until further notice.
