GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - The Go George hub, in Cradock Street in the CBD, is currently being blocked off by taxis.
This comes after two taxis were allegedly impounded by the Ghost Squad earlier this morning.
According to unconfirmed reports, one taxi was impounded in Knysna Road and the other in Nelson Mandela Boulevard.
Police and local traffic officials are on the scene.
No buses are able to exit or enter the hub.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area as a section of Cradock and Mitchell Street, between Market and Hibernia Street, is currently closed.
