GEORGE NEWS - Blue Mountain Haven hosted a very successful soup and sherry evening.
The audience was treated to a surprise performance by Michael Lindt and there was dancing and singing aplenty.
Michael was in his element, taking requests and receiving support from one of the residents, who then became his 'back-up singer'.
Home-baked bread and home-made jams accompanying three delectable soups, coupled with copious bottles of sherry, ensured a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
A general request went up to organise another soup and sherry night soon.
"Our thanks to our guests, baker and chefs, and a special thank you to Michael Lindt for making the night an absolute success," said Dominique Otgaar, general manager of Blue Mountain Haven.
A lovely evening was had by all.
Audience members sang and danced along.
