GEORGE NEWS - A large portion of Denneoord has been without electricity since early this morning, as well as parts of Heatherlands and Fernridge.
George Municipality said that there were electricians busy testing cables.
Unfortunately, the electricians have now a discovered a fourth cable fault and this affects the areas that had been switched on a while ago.
Portions of Denneoord and Bergsig are off including Outeniqua High School, Pre-cap Centre and Merriman Street.
The areas will remain off until this fault can be located and repaired. It will take quite some time.
The municipality apologises for any inconvenience.
