Lizette da Silva, editor of the George Herald, and her youngest daughter, Lily-Beth, dropped off their 10 litres of soup at the Garden Route Food Pantry this morning. With them are Gail Bekeer and Tillie Nel.

GEORGE NEWS & VIDEOS - Personnel of the Garden Route District Municipality's disaster management section gave of their time this morning, Monday 18 July, to spend 67 minutes doing good for the community on Mandela Day. 

They put together rice stewing packs that will be distributed in the community. Each pack can help feed six people.
