GEORGE NEWS - George police will be hosting a recruitment outreach for reservists today, 20 May from 10:00 to 13:00 in front of Pep Stores in Hibernia Street.
All interested parties, who qualify with the following criteria, are invited to apply.
The criteria to qualify, includes the following:
- You have to be a South African citizen by birth between the ages of 18 and 50.
- You have to be medically fit and fit the psychometric profile.
- A minimum qualification of grade 12 is needed and proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English.
- Fingerprints and DNA samples will be taken and you have to be prepared to undergo certain training. No tattoos must be visible when wearing a uniform.
If you are a successful candidate, you will undergo training to work alongside the police members in the operational field.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a crime fighting force to prevent crime and gratefully ensure the safety of our community.
