GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The Garden Route offers lots for the eye to feast on, not the least of which is its beautiful people.
A prime example is Plettenberg Bay resident Kyle Hans, who was recently selected as one of the 60 semi-finalists in the Mr South Africa competition. Kyle initially made it to the list of finalists as the social media favourite.
Kyle says he decided to enter this year because he has much to offer the communities of South Africa.
"My dream is to one day have my own charity. I know sport brings all races together. It keeps the youth off the streets and teaches kids basic everyday skills, as well as respect. I want to have my own sport organisation where I would personally get in touch with the communities of South Africa."
He says we daily face many obstacles, such as anxiety, depression, financial losses, abuse and suicidal thoughts, especially now during the coronavirus lockdown. He asks communities to practise humanity in their words and especially in their deeds.
For Kyle, lockdown opens an opportunity to focus on self care, as well as bringing hope to others. He says the Mr South Africa Organisation is working to do its part in combating this virus, with more efforts awaiting governmental approval.
"We pray for South Africa and the world."
He truly appreciates all the support from the voters, friends, family and business partners on this journey. Kyle firmly believes he can inspire, motivate and make a positive difference to many lives. Continue to vote for him by SMSing MRSA94 to 40439 (R2 per SMS and unlimited number of votes).
