GEORGE NEWS - The George Methodist Church is holding its popular Holiday Club for children from 25 to 29 June, from 08:00 to 12:30 daily.

Holiday Club is an entertaining holiday programme for children from Grade RR to Grade 7. The theme this year is "Up in the Sky!". The programme includes worship, Bible lessons, crafts, play-acting and lots of games. There is a morning tea break where the children receive a light lunch and something to drink.

Every day the children get to dress up and there is a prize-giving for the "Best Dressed". This year the dress-up days' themes are: Tuesday - Disney Day, Wednesday - Crazy Hat/Hair Day, Thursday - Superhero Day, and Friday - Up in the Sky Day.

Friday is Market Day and the children can buy a yummy treat or two. Parents are invited to join the programme at 12:00 and see what everyone got up to during Holiday Club.

The cost is R35 per child per day, or R160 per child for the whole week. This includes food and drinks for the morning.
