GEORGE NEWS - Local humanitarian non-profit organisation, God Cares International, will be hosting a Carol's by Candlelight with the Syferfontein Community Choir in Syferfontein on Sunday 17 December.
The events starts at 18:00 and everyone is invited.
The following week, on Saturday 22 December, they will be hosting a Christmas party for the children of Syferfontein.
Most of these children come from indigent households and the organisation is appealing to the public for donations of gifts and toiletries.

God Cares aims to alleviate diverse issues, especially gender-based violence, experienced by residents who do not have the resources or knowledge to see to certain needs themselves.
Whether it is parents who need identity documents to obtain birth certificates for their children, or youngsters needing daily bread, Pijoos and her volunteers try to fill the gap.
