GEORGE NEWS - George personal trainer and bodybuilder Addington Mondo (23) achieved a personal best when he won the Physical Culture Association's (PCA) Destiny Classic competition hosted by Johan du Toit at the Garden Route Casino on 16 March.
"Preparation was blood, sweat and tears but the outcome was more than worth it," said Mondo.
"I couldn't have done this without my powerful God or the help of my family who helped and supported me with meal planning, gym sessions twice a day and having my back. This made all of it so much easier.
"I also want to thank my coach Shayden Ruiters for guiding me the past two years. A big thank you to my sponsors, Chris van Zyl and Shenka Doherty of Iron Addict, for all the help and support these past two years. I promise this is just the beginning. I'm going to make you guys proud with every show. Bodybuilders Nutrition also supported me throughout my journey."
