Businesses should take note, that there will be delays in collection of their refuse since their collections will only be done after the residential areas.

GEORGE NEWS - Due to strike action today, Wednesday 23 June, refuse removal services had a late start this morning.

Refuse removal started at homes earlier today and there should not be any delays. 

Businesses should take note, that there will be delays in collection of their refuse since their collections will only be done after the residential areas.

Areas collected on Wednesdays are:

  • Camphersdrift, 
  • Fernridge, 
  • Denneoord, 
  • Bo-Dorp, 
  • Blommekloof, 
  • Tweerivieren, 
  • Hoogekraal and 
  • Hoekwil 
  • Businesses.
