GEORGE NEWS - The George Municipality Civil Engineering Services Customer Complaints office has recently moved across the road to larger premises in the old ABSA building in York Street (next to the old SARS building).
Operating weekdays from 07:45 to 16:30, including lunch hour, the walk-in customer care office handles civil engineering complaints including:
• Water leaks on municipal infrastructure including meters, valves and connections, main pipeline bursts and all required water deliveries to rural areas.
• Sewer blockages and sewer tanker removal/suction service.
• Pothole repairs.

The entrance to the new office is not yet signposted – it is the door closest to the old SARS building entrance in York Street.
