GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Six cities in Southern Africa are taking part in the City Nature Challenge 2021. 

Join in the fun and help to put the Garden Route on the international bio-tourism map. If you like to photograph and experience nature, your observations can be put to good use to record important information regarding natural life around our cities.

The City Nature Challenge is an international competition in which the goal is to make the most observations of nature, find the most species, and engage the most people on iNaturalist (also known as iNat) during a four-day period from 30 April to 3 May 2021. 

The challenge is organised by the citizens science teams of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and the California Academy of Sciences.
